This policy explains what WatchTix ("WatchTix," "we," "us") — operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], [STATE] — collects through our pre-beta waitlist website, and what we do with it. Short version: we collect your email and what you tell us you'd like to watch, we use it to run the waitlist and launch the product, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
- Email address — when you join the waitlist.
- Watch intent — if you choose to tell us the artist, team, or show you'd watch first. This is optional.
- Basic signup context — the page you signed up from, the referring site, and a timestamp.
- Standard technical logs — our hosting and database providers (Vercel, Supabase) automatically log IP addresses and device/browser information as part of operating the service.
What we use it for
- Confirming your waitlist spot and sending the emails described at signup (confirmation, how-it-works, and your beta invite).
- Deciding what events, venues, and cities to launch with, based on aggregate demand.
- Operating, securing, and improving the website.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your email with venues, teams, ticket marketplaces, or advertisers. If we ever share demand insights with the supply side of the market, it is aggregated and anonymized — your identity is never included.
- We do not send you anything beyond the waitlist sequence and product updates, and every email includes a working unsubscribe.
Who processes data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers to operate the waitlist: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (website hosting), and [EMAIL PROVIDER, e.g., Resend] (transactional email). Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until the pre-beta program ends or you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Unsubscribing stops emails; emailing us (below) deletes your record entirely.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe — one click in any email.
- Access or delete — email info@watchtix.com and we'll confirm within 30 days.
If you are a resident of a state with specific privacy rights (such as California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your information — the same email address handles all such requests.
Children
The waitlist is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the record.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll email the waitlist before the change takes effect.
